Bonding and Ability Claim

When a dragon and rider bond together, the rider gains the same power that the dragon possesses, and is able to use that power separate from their dragon, but with less strength. When the dragon and rider are together, their powers are at their peak. A rider can start out with just one of the powers on the list. If the rider and dragon bonded when the dragon was unhatched, they learn to control their powers together. However if a hatched dragon and rider bond, the rider must learn one power at a time, eventually being able to master every power the dragon has mastered.
