--22, sergeant for excalibur, medic, unbonded, christian,--
Leo is a Lieutenant and field medic for the Excalibur. She works with plants and herbs to heal sickness, wounds and ailments. She is also a skilled surgeon but mostly only deals with surgery that is done rapidly in order to hold someone off until they can get to better care.
Leo is incredibly compassionate toward those around her. She isn't easy to trust, but once she does you can bet that she will have your back through anything. No matter your circumstance, your background, your battle scars- she will befriend you if your heart is in the right place. She is very empathetic and concerned for others, humans and dragons alike. It is the compassion in her nature that caused her to join the case for Excalibur. She hopes to bring peace to the world between all species.
Though she is somewhat of a pacifist, Leo understands the need for force in order to reestablish peace. This mindset has brought her incredible courage for the cause of Excalibur and has given her the boost she needed to sword train and look for a dragon companion. She doesn't blink in the sight of danger, this is part of her courage and her calm nature.
No matter the situation, Leo rarely loses her temper. Even in the face of battle, she is incredibly calm and collected. She knows how important it is to have a level head at all times. She works as a field medic and has to stay calm in order to treat those in need of her care. This has come with much practice from growing up quickly and having to care for others all her life.
When Leo first arrived in the Underground, she found the giant library of books The Halls. While there, she stumbled on the Bible and other Christian writings and has declared herself a christian ever since. She believes in the teachings of Jesus Christ and tries her hardest to live her life by his example. She believes that he lived, and that he will come again. She isn't very loud about this belief, but will tell you about it if the conversation gets there.
Pyria is a hard soul to bond with for she tries to keep her emotions hidden if possible. She is incredibly dutiful, but she has a hard time figuring out what that duty is. She is loving and gracious toward her father even though he can be a ruthless man. She's seen the worst of his wrath, the parts he keeps hidden and she wishes to save him from his internal torment. She is basically the Princess of the underground and treats herself as such. She carries herself with the air of entitlement if only to put on a show, while deep down she really believes that all things are equal. She is soft spoken if you are first getting to know her, but the more you see the more sass, humor and kindness will seep out of her. She believes that everyone and everything should be friends, should be at peace. She just hasn't found a place where that is possible yet. She can be cruel, if she is unsure how to handle you in a situation and she has a bit of a nasty temper. Still, she wants to be someone that people can look up to. Someone people can trust. Someone brave, full of goodness and a beacon of light to everyone. She just doesn't know how to be that person yet. But, she strives to be.
Rowen knows that he is charming and that people take a liking to him, but this doesn't go to his head to much. He tries to have an air of charm and lightheartedness as often as possible, often opposing the other members of the Excalibur creed who generally walk in seriousness. This doesn't mean he isn't focused on his job, he is incredibly so, but he likes to make sure people stay positive as much as possible. He tries to be the comic relief, which can often result in people not taking him seriously, until they see him get down to business.
He tries to show kindness to everyone he meets, but can be fairly harsh if he already formed a bad opinion of you. Once he decides you are a 'bad person' it is really hard to get in his good graces. He judges people too quickly and generally assumes that his first impression of a person is correct. This is something that he isn't working to overcome, for he doesn't see this as a problem. The sooner you label people, the less time you'll waste and the less you'll get people hurt.
As a skilled archer, Rowen is well practiced in the importance of focus. He understands that there are times when humor must take a rest, and the most important thing to do is stay focused on the task at hand. However, even when he is being rather rambunctious, he still is aware of his surroundings.

Tarin is rarely seen to be joking around or making a fool of himself. He carries himself quite seriously and makes it a point to exude intimidation at all times. The only time this serious nature seems to lessen is when he is doing something completely reckless, but even then he treats it like it is an important part of his daily routine. Training his body for whatever he may need.
Some say that Reckless and Bravery are the same thing, but Tarin doesn't believe. His bravery stems from an ideal that the world is something meant to be conquered, not feared. He follows his impulses and volunteers for dangerous missions. Still, he has fears like everyone else. He fears the dark, finding shadow dragons extremely difficult to tackle. He fears open spaces, he likes the idea of being able to have somewhere to hide if necessary. Still, he rarely shows his fears on the outside, which is also a form of bravery in his eyes.
Tarin doesn't like to lose. He is an incredible sore loser and will hold grudges against those who get past him. While training to be a night, he worked hard to beat the others his age to knighthood. Tarin was second in his class of squires and has incredible contempt for the person who passed him up. He is cruel to this person, and to anyone else who exceeds him in anything.

Veritas can often be seen chuckling or giggling at a distance from the rest of the group. She enjoys to watch people interact, humans and dragons alike, and finds their interactions to be somewhat of an entertainment. She tries to keep a positive attitude whenever possible, trying to be uplifting to those who have had harder lives than she. She is lighthearted and tries to be the positive example in any situation.
Even though Veritas likes to enjoy from the sidelines, she also enjoys making new friends. This generally happens when she finds someone doing something that interests her, and she will address them herself. She isn't shy, not by any means. She tries to make everyone feel welcome, but can also be a bit sarcastic at times, but it's always meant in a lighthearted manner. She is incredibly forgiving, especially with her daughter Viria.
As a dragon who is aligned with Excalibur,. Vertias is very dutiful to the cause. She takes on any assignment that she is given and works hard to raise her daughter in such a way that she can one day join the cause as well. She keeps a level head when taking orders, and when carrying them out. She thinks that if you have to get a job done there is no reason being a drama queen about it.

amy is intelligent and uses this to her advantage by trying to stay ahead in her life. she is extremely studious by day but wild and reckless by night. she loves to laugh. given that she hadn't really had that many bright experiences back in her past, she tries her best to enjoy every good moment that happens in her life.amy is also very wary of those she trusts, but she also gives everyone at least one chance, if not two. never a third or a fourth chance though, that's just pushing it with her. she doesn't believe rumors unless it is confirmed by the people directly involved, and she likes to find things out for herself.even though amy tries to remain on the side of good in general, she does have quite an overwhelming temper. she gets that from her parents. that, and she has an incredible low tolerance for people who can't comprehend what she is saying. if she has to explain something to you more than once she will start to get incredibly irritable and snappy with you.
Rai has an intense temper and is very stubborn. She knows when she's right and makes it a point to make sure everyone else knows it too. She doesn't work too well in teams unless she is the leader, and even then he has a hard time accepting anyone elses council. She is emotional and unbalanced, vengeful and serious a lot of the time.Despite all this, Rai is someone you want on your side. She is incredibly passionate, loving and even forgiving when the time calls for it. She is ruled by her emotions which can be a bad thing, but it also leads her to follow her heart and do what she thinks is right. She is a good leader and can inspire others with brave words and soothing hands. She takes responsibility for her actions and expects others to do the same. She has a hard time doing things with a lighthearted air. She tends to take everything a bit too seriously, which isn't a bad thing being a slave. She is brave, however, and plans to break her and her mother out at the earliest chance.
The complicated mind of Anorel Delisle is not easily explained. She had a thirst for power, but not necessarily a thirst for dragon blood. She is quite like Ryluth in the fact that she feels entitled to a certain air of privilege. She was once an insecure little thing, cowering and confused, but that time as long since passed. Now, you see before you a strong, intense, vain woman who cares deeply for her own ends.
Many have described Anorel as beautiful, which, in a way, makes her intense and cold nature even more terrifying. Her confidence never waivers, at least that's what she likes people to think. In public, on the outside, you'll see a stern woman that can clear a crowded hallway merely by approaching. She doesn't know this yet, but deep down there is a real soul, someone who needs to be released and simply given a chance to make the right choices.
Anorel is incredibly blunt as well, and this often helps her to make a few enemies. She is rarely afraid to speak her mind and often tells people her assessments of them outright. Considering these are often rooted in truth, people can either laugh about it or be very angry about it. She could really care less if she hurts their feelings, she believes that honesty is the best policy.
On a lighter note, Anorel likes the sound of thunderstorms and the feel of stone beneath her fingers. She's attached to manmade structures, feeling as though they are one of the last parts of human civilization left. She often visits this places, cutting or burning down the plants that have overgrown in there, trying to restore the buildings to their formal glory.
