Adello has short and feathery white hair and white skin to match as well as pale green eyes. He is an average height, built lean and coltish, almost willowy. His expression is always soft, even anger. He moves with a natural grace and airiness. He wears pale colors, most often white, in loose fitted articles made from thin or soft materials. Of course, these outfits are all picked out for him.
[break][break]
Black fog – He can telekinetically manipulate the Black Fog Cadmus breathes.
[break][break]
GENTLE- Adello is very kind and easygoing. He does things very delicately. His sorrow and his anger are never very harsh. He’s easy to make smile, and very patient. He’s very caring as well, putting in much thought before he acts.
[break][break]
FREE-SPIRITED- Despite his delicate nature, he’s not very submissive. He’s a bit of a day dreamer and doesn’t think much of others views of him. He can be strange, and this can lead to others gaining a negative view of him, not that he minds. Sometimes he’ll purposefully play to peoples misconceptions in order to achieve a goal, though not in a way that is technically dishonest. He’ll always find a roundabout way to do his own thing.
[break][break]
PERCEPTIVE- He is very good at noticing subtle things about both people and dragons, especially emotions and motivations. He’s quick to figure things outs from few clues and has good insight. He will notice things others might not. Small things, like the way others talk, move, and what they do, when they step outside of routine and such. He’s often the first one to know when danger is coming.
[break][break]
CREATIVE- His mind is constantly wandering, looking to improve things, and find new solutions/ways of doing things. His Ideas can also get out of hand, going to grandiose places and over the top conclusions. At least he is rarely bored for long.
[break][break]
PASSIVE- It’s hard to get a strong reaction from him. He very much prefers to be the one acted upon, rather than the one taking action. He won’t stand up to anyone or be assertive. He works around others wishes rather than over them, even if they conflict with his own. He’s pretty conflict avoidant in general.
[break][break]
Adello was the youngest of three and spent his early childhood in the underground. He was born with bright white hair that set him apart from his community. His parents thought it a shame that a child with such bright hair would spend his living days in the dark, so when he was eight they moved above ground into a dense forest. For two years everything was great, they stayed hidden and far from the dragons.
[break][break]
However, their peace could not last forever, and the dragons came upon them. A dragon city had been expanding into the forest without them knowing and scouts had found their home. He saw his parents killed in front of him at the tender age of 10. He tried to flee deeper into the forest and was separated from his siblings. A dragon scout found him and took him back to the dragon city where he was turned into a slave. He didn’t know if his siblings shared his fate, their parents, or made it to freedom.
[break][break]
He tried to be hopeful but every time he opened his mouth to share his hopes someone was there to tell him his siblings probably died. Then, when he cried about it, he was punished, until he stopped talking altogether. A mix of trauma and abuse led him to muteness. He would keep his will silent and unnoticeable.
For four years he toiled in silent slavery, working himself ragged, unable to protest. Then a family of noble dragons came along. They were there to talk business with the dragon in charge and let their child, Cadmus, wander about. The dragon wandered looking disinterested until he found the mop of white hair. He watched transfixed as Adelllo worked until his parents concluded the talks and came to get him. He demanded to own the unusual looking human, and the owner let him.
[break][break]
Cadmus treated Adello as a trophy and personal servant. A useful status symbol. The white haired human was his prize, and his toy. This was sadly a step up in life for the boy. The dragon fed him. “My human won’t be sickly, he must be presentable, only the best will be mine.” The dragon had insisted. He was given better clothes. “Those rags don’t suit my company.” Cadmus explained as though it were obvious. And his work load had decreased considerably. Rather than the hard labor of normal slaves, he brought food to the dragon, cleaned him and his possessions, and entertained him.
[break][break]
Adello was fearful for the first year and a half, but soon grew to notice the dragon had a soft spot for him. It wasn’t a very soft spot, but it was there, and it could be made softer. So he appealed to the dragon’s vanity to get what he wanted. More free time came his way and he spent it with the dragon. Communication was hard, Adello had pretty much given up on talking ever again, but their games of charades amused the dragon. The two had developed a rough language of gestures, expressions, and body language to communicate.
[break][break]
At some point, their communication had become effortless, and the two had become friends. Not that Cadmus would ever admit that, but he might say Adello was the closest thing he had to a friend. Sometime in here the two bonded. Neither really knew until Adello showed he could manipulate Cadmus’ black fog. The dragon had been furious, thinking someone had bonded with his human, until Adello pointed out that he was bonded to Cadmus.
[break][break]
The dragon’s family soon after pointed out that they were concerned about how much time the dragon was spending with the human. He said he was teaching the human to do tricks. Tricks which Adello then had to preform those tricks at a family dinner. They communicated wordlessly and it went well until the main course was served. To prove their sons loyalty, the dragons had asked for human to be served. Cadmus ate the meal without batting an eye, Adello nearly fell from the ball he was balancing on. They never talked about it, but Adello could tell his friend thought humans were inferior without a doubt.
