Eon takes after his mother's Asian origins when it comes to his facial characteristics. Unlike her though, he's more on the tall side, standing at 6 feet, with a lean body. He has always cut his hair by himself (afraid to shave it all off, but annoyed enough by it to not let it grow out too much), so it's usually just a dark brown mess he brushes back and out of his face every few minutes. His eyes are the same dull brown color as his hair. As for clothes, he pays as much attention to it as he does his hair. It's always simple and pale, light when it's hot and heavy when it's hot. As long as he feels comfortable, he's okay with anything.
[break][break]
Like his dragon, Eon has the ability to heal others through his inner energy. Since they bonded before the dragon egg even hatched, they were both new to this skill and did not have guidance on how to put good practice to it. So far, they have only managed to learn how to heal external wounds, and cannot avoid scars if said wounds are too deep.
[break][break]
He's not exactly an introvert, but it was never easy for him to make friends. After several attempts to hold a conversation with someone, that someone would usually just avoid Eon the next time they met. At first he wasn't sure why this was happening. Soon after he discovered that to be able to socialize, one needed to be willing to try to be likable. It was never his thing -pretending, that is-, so he dropped the matter early. It was actually weird that he turned out as dry as he did, his parents being a very emotional pair. It was even a cause of worry for some time, until he picked up books instead and they dropped the matter.
[break]
He's a very practical individual, to the point his ideals are sometimes a bit too raw for the standard human being. Of course this comes with being pessimistic as well, as he does not waste effort in trying to conceal the most possible truth with something that might make people happier. He has learned to accept harshness and thus rarely gets offended by insults and the like. He also hates pretense of any kind, and will not feel ashamed to express any sort of shameful attribute about himself.
[break][break]
It's very usual for him to hurt people unintentionally, and will not realize it until they actually tell him. And even then, apologizing is not the first thing he'll think of doing. Most people end up hating him because of it, but if someone manages to put up with it all at beginning, Eon eventually warms up to them and will actually be more affectionate with time. He's not emotionless; he cares about the people who care about him, and he will do what he can for a stranger as long as they need his help and he doesn't hate them. He'll never go out of his way for someone he doesn't consider a close friend though.
[break][break]
Born in the underground, Eon grew up with the Knights' ideas and preachings, though he never really payed much attention to them. He wasn't as passionate about the whole "taking back the world from the dragons" thing as most people around him were. His parents even suggested he started training to join the Knights at some point. Of course he declined, and was thankful that they didn't press the matter more.
[break][break]
He took to reading more instead. Any book he could get his hands on was good enough for him, as long as he'd take something from it. When he wasn't reading, he would either help around the house or search for more books. Everything he did though, was always close to his house; close to comfort. He wasn't the type to risk his safety. And yet -it might have actually been the books-, he was curious enough to make an exception just for one time.
[break][break]
He snuck up to the surface one night, not for any particular reason. He just felt a very strong urge to see the stars he'd read so much about for himself. Instead of stars though, he found a dead body lying next to the river nearby, and a dragon egg sitting next to it, as if waiting to be picked up. And it was picked up, recklessly, thoughtlessly, just out of curiosity. Eon slapped himself several times that night when he'd gotten back to his house, trying to put some sense into his head. He considered running back up to the surface, and leaving the egg where he found it, but it was late. He told himself it was too late now; no going back. And without knowing what it meant, or even realizing it, he bonded with the unhatched dragon.
[break][break]
Soon after, the egg hatched, and the two became unexpected friends. It was a weird experience for Eon, to have a friend, that is. Garkai seemed to be the only being that managed to bypass his pessimism, and actually make Eon think twice before dubbing disaster the outcome to everything. It wasn't long before the two discovered their ability to heal, and also that dragons grow up quite fast. It was easy to hide him while he was young, but the dragon grew larger every day, and Eon doubted the Knights would be very happy about the pair.
[break][break]
So they fled, and eventually found and joined Excalibur. Garkai was happy to join the cause, unlike Eon, who would have preferred to keep himself as neutral as possible.
